The characteristic of a high-reflection film is that it has a very high reflectivity in a certain special wavelength band. There are two types of high-reflection films: dielectric high-reflection films and metal high-reflection films. A dielectric high-reflection film is composed of many layers of insulating dielectric materials. The polarization of this film system is very small, and the reflectivity can be very high. The coating of a metal high-reflection film is made of gold, silver or aluminum, and the surface presents a special color.
